Keywords Research:
On Thursday I had tea with a Chinese client for whom I host a couple of websites! And over the course of our conversation it dawned on me, that he knew nothing at all about the function and marketing of a website at all!
The cost of optimising a website in terms of time or money, to generate the right sort of content or advertising etc… Zilch Nada Nix and truthfully it was becoming painful trying to explain to someone with a schedule and glazed eyes, so I stopped trying, picked up the money to renew his domains and hosting… and left it at that!
But that was a shame, over the course of our conversation, I knew how his website could help him! But the bottom line is I cannot grow his business for him, using my time and resources for nothing! And a client who wants the power of a website and yet ignores freely given advice on how to make the best use of that site… “well what more can you do?”
The relevance of keywords research, the importance of being able to find keywords that will drive targeted traffic to your site, was one of the stumbling blocks of our conversation! For now we will put my client to the side and talk as like minded people. You are here because, you do have an interest in learning how to find the right keywords!
Best Keywords Research:
Over the course of time I’ve picked up a few tools to find keywords, for example Goodkeyword gold, keyword corral, and a few others which I have deleted or no longer use! The best keywords research tool, I’ve ever come accross is Market Samurai
This is a tool mentioned elsewhere on the blog, in a post with other tool recommendations and I can’t find it! Linking to an older page would have being ideal, O’well another time… The point is this is something I’ve recommended for free!

Samuri is a great tool you are promoting there as well, been using it for a while now, there aint many that are better (if any).
