Self hosting not Free hosting
Hello I wrote this article after using a free site… Yes I do use them but for one reason only links! Back to my hosted site! My sites are all now days with GOGVO
Search engines like back links… and I personally try to give them what they want! That’s just common sense.
For my sites self Hosting is the only way to go. I control ad content and design etc the blame is mine… or and I prefer it this way all the success is Mine when things go well!
This is another of my ezine article series.
Why avoid free websites? The quick answer is: Paid hosting equals ownership! Ownership equals power and power equals freedom! In this case the freedom and power to produce and promote the best site you possibly can, and if you are reading this I know you have ideas for a website and you are studying your options.
Here are 12 good reasons to avoid free websites:
- You have no say over what ads go on your site
- Your site name will often reflect the free hosting provider
- You often cannot use a TLD-Top Level Domain
- Your bandwidth is restricted
- Your design flexibility is limited due to the above!
- Support is limited in many cases for non premium users
- Search engines don’t always respect free sites (That’s being polite!)
- S.E.O disadvantages
- Pressure to upgrade at less favorable rates than elsewhere?
- No Cpanels to set up emails control bandwidth and much more!
- No Fantastico For push button blog installation
- No WHM or Web Host Manager Control Panel.
Just a small additional point to the above! Once you’ve got the site up and running and you now see the value of putting your hand in your pocket and paying for some proper bandwidth, the chances are you will stay with the company that offered you the Free hosting! because you feel it would be too much work to move and find a new website host etc etc… Well they’ve got you!
If you have read this far take the hint and bypass Free hosting and go straight to high value hosting with a first class hosting service provider! for example GOGVO Avoid the risk of falling into the hands of a potentially unethical hosting company.
Sound Simple Advice!
Instead of thinking free hosting start thinking free trial! or paying a dollar, If you are looking for one right now try the GOGVO Offer That’s the way forward: think fully featured all the bells and whistles hosting for grown ups and not that free kiddie stuff for websites dedicated to Fluffy the rabbit.
(No disrespect intended to any Bunnies called Fluffy… or their respective websites!)
Back to business… Your website is going to serve a purpose, be it promotional or commercial; perhaps it will be informational! You want it to work! You want a hosting service provider that can make it work… And give it plenty of room to grow as it and you evolve, you as a webmaster and the site as a URL that will become a popular website… attracting lots of visitors that interact with the site content, all of which require bandwidth that is unavailable when you go down the free hosting road.
Your website will have a global reach and it needs disc space on a good server to provide for your online virtual presence and promote your opportunity or message.
All my sites are with GOGVO Global Virtual Opportunity

Greetings – fantastic website you have, I really like your writing style. Very distinctive and easy to follow. On a lot of blogs people just drone on and on, but not you – very nice. Keep up the fine work! I love reading other sites about how to work from home. It’s such an exciting topic. Don’t have time to read everything here, I found your site while looking for something else on about.com. But I’ve bookmarked your homepage and will visit it regularly to read what’s new. I started working from home about seven months ago and I have learned a lot in that time. I also started a small blog about it myself. Seems like there is something new to learn every day. Please bookmark my site at http://www.LinkThe.com. Thanks again!
Hello Sara, I will visit your site later today, sorry it took a long time to get round to replying to your generous post. Thank You… Sean.
