Why avoid free websites? The quick answer is: Paid hosting equals ownership!  Ownership equals power and power equals freedom!  In this case the freedom and power to produce and promote the best site you possibly can, and if you are reading this I know you have  ideas for a website  and you are studying your options.

Here are 12 good reasons to avoid free websites:

1. You have no say over what ads go on your site
2. Your site name will often reflect the free hosting provider
