Aweber or Gogvo Eresponder? Review

2009 November 24

Turn One-Time Visitors Into Active Subscribers with AWeber Email Marketing
QUOTE FROM JOEL THERIEN C.E.O. OF GLOBAL VIRTUAL OPPORTUNITIES, GVO.
”We have amazing relationships with, and have been white listed with, all the blacklist companies out there like Spamhaus and Spamcop.”
A POINT TO BEAR IN MIND WHEN READING THIS REVIEW!

Which auto responder aweb… or gvo?

It is a difficult question.  Aweber are one of the premier email solution providers.  They are a company I have used in the past, and can not fault on customer service or delivery.

I still visit their blog to pick up tips and tricks!  They do know the email marketing business inside out.  Below is a feed from the blog, so you can see what I mean.

Don’t go just yet… There is valuable information to know first, in this post!

Plus and I must point this out, I still have an affiliate account with them. My connection is not severed.   A recent major improvement they have made is to the web form for name capture.

Now users can really go to town with style and format, and design the perfect form for their websites. Before it was a much more simple and basic affair.  But now the competitions hotting up and they have,  had to pull a few tricks out of their hat!

I used to use the connection between Aweber and XsitePro the website design software,  for my form creation.  Xsite would provide the design and Aweb.. The code, and it worked fine every time.

Now this is a review so what is the downside of using them for your email delivery provider?  For me personally price!  And price is a biggie in any business.  When my list tops 5000 + the price is $50 dollars monthly and when my list,  or to be more realistic my lists top 10,000 +  email subscribers the monthly cost rises to $130 dollars a month.

These figures are accurate as of  November 2009. Bearing in mind that 5ooo subscribers is not an unreasonable amount of email clients, it is an achievable figure using good marketing techniques!  So that is $50 dollars plus Hosting costs.

To my way of thinking if I could reduce costs yet still maintain the same high standard of email delivery,  wouldn’t that be the right way forward?

Now the Gogvo Auto Responder, or as it is referred to in-house the Eresponder or Eresponder Pro.  Truth be told it got off to a slightly rocky start in the beta testing phase.  Considering all the sweeping changes and updating of systems the Tech Guys can be forgiven for a few gremlins in the works.

They sorted out all, the issues fast.  That is a major advantage of owning all the software  in-house! The C.E.O. of Virtual Global Opportunities  (Joel Therien)  has publicly  stated on more than one occasion, that he intends his email software to be better than Aweb… and I have a feeling he may be right!

All the gogvo tools  have undergone a transformation, in terms of updating and revamping and the eresponder pro email auto responder  system is no exception.

  The Gvo Autoresponder

GVO Eresponder

GVO Eresponder

This auto responder has link tracking, open rates and delivery ratio’s all the information you need to track the effectiveness of your email campaigns.
You can also send plain text and html.  A very important feature. The main selling point here, I believe is the cost!  This auto responder from gogvo is included as part of the hosting package.
You may,  have unlimited auto responders with no price cap on subscribers.  A list of over 5,000 makes no difference to the price you pay.  So if you had 10,000  plus subscribers with Gogvo the price would still be $44.95 and it would include your hosting and all the other features available with this hosting company.
You can find out more on GoGvo  via  the high lighted link. Lets deal with submission forms for a minute now, we know aweb has bought out the new design feature!  At the same time as gvo released a great choice of templates  that can be copied and pasted into your blog or web sites html.  Don’t worry a video explains it all in the members area.
My conclusion is, Aweber still has a slight edge on the eresponder!  but the price advantage long term is firmly on the side of the gvo autoresponder!
So going gvo is the best choice!
Because of price and the speed of improvements in the constantly evolving eresponder, the difference is not worth shelling out more money for, and centralising all your billing into a single low monthly cost, makes business sense for any Online Internet Marketer.
Factor in the video hosting and the 10 seat free video conferencing room, and it really becomes no choice at all!

China and Russia put the blame on some screwed up experiments of US for the earthquake that happened in Haiti.
Chinese and Russian Military scientists, these reports say, are concurring with Canadian researcher, and former Asia-Pacific Bureau Chief of Forbes Magazine, Benjamin Fulford, who in a very disturbing video released from his Japanese offices to the American public, details how the United States attacked China by the firing of a 90 Million Volt Shockwave from the Americans High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP) facilities in Alaska
If we can recollect a previous news when US blamed Russia for the earthquake in Georgio. What do you guys think? Is it really possible to create an earthquake by humans?
I came across this article about Haiti Earthquake in some blog it seems very interesting, but conspiracy theories have always been there.
