Downline Building.

Note: At the end of this post there is an easy to get started with,  downline building system  for anyone to use!

This is a subject close to the heart of any affiliate marketer involved in a product or company where downlines are built and replicable skills have to be passed on so the new members can generate a downline of their own. 

My review of downline building is slightly tonque in cheek so don’t get too  stressed disagreeing with certain points…. But  there is no denying the level of knowledge needing to be learned by anyone serious about success online.

This is where it gets complicated what do you tell people to do? and how much do you tell them at once? it can be scary the amount of work that actually has to be done and the disciplines that have to be learnt…  plus the language involved!

• Cold Market = People unaware of your opportunity.   (my definition equals, O …………..!  This stranger is trying to sell me something!)
• Warm Market = Family friends and associates who know you!   (my definition, O ……! here comes ………  Hide!!!!!
• Leads = People in your prospecting funnel
• Prospecting = The process of finding Leads
• Leads = People genuinely interested in what you have for sale!
• Prospecting system = The process you use to attract people to your market!

This is a list of terms  just for the term  prospecting system

• Pay it forward = Pay a nominal sum to encourage some one to join and repeat the process  (simple version, I expect a comment on two on that! )
• Funded proposition systems = People pay to join a programme before getting to the main programme and the money from the first keeps the rest going. (simple version, but that’s it essentially)
• Attraction Marketing = Pretty much like above with more bells and whistles, you promote a funded proposition with you as a superperson to do business with!  The association with you will flood bank accounts with countless dollars etc…

All the above other than friends family and every one you meet everywhere  option ( warm and cold markets) 

Involve the use of Internet Marketing Techniques which have to be learnt,  and used.  Here is a list which includes the simpler,  important traffic generation and downline building methods used on the Internet.

• Blogging = Self explanatory the difference is it’s your blog and your content!
• Website = Possibly an affiliate website or more than one…  from the companies you promote to and from!
• RSS feeds = Content from your blog sent out to other sites… This can be automated!
• Video  =  Self explanatory again!  and so far every word on this list is something I could write pages and posts galore on!
• Article Marketing = Written content on the subject of your product or opportunity submitted to directories (other websites like the rss feeds for links and traffic)
• Pod casting  = Audio content again syndicated (shared and posted on other sites)
• Directory submission = syndicated content sharing sites, articles podcasts videos and software (whole other subject again)
• List building = E book info…  offered in exchange for an email address  (This is a whole other subject and lots of posts by itself)

It is worth stopping now because, one I do not want to put a new person reading this off!  Two because at this point possible  solutions  to all the above would be appropriate.

I choose GVO to promote on my Shared server hosting  blog, because all the above with the exception of podcasting are available through using the Gogvo tools included in the titanium hosting package, plus the Online Internet Marketing Training that got me going! and as for the downline building solution,  visiting a new blog of mine, may have the answer your looking for to run alongside your other activities to   create a downline
